Right approach to prompt a Dialog Box asking for text (equivalent to AlertDialog.Builder and EditText in Android Studio)
Hi,
I am an Android Studio developer and just arrived to the Unity3D platform. In Android, when I want to ask for input text at a certain time, an AlertDialog.Builder instance and an EditText is attached to the Dialog is used in code.
I am trying to search for similar approach in Unity3D, but no luck to find anything similar, since it seems that there are no native classes to do it.
Is it adding a Panel on a Canvas with an InputText the best approach for achieving that result? When starting the app it will be disabled and when I want to show it, it will be enabled. If this solution is the right one, can be done it programmatically?
