gameobject instance
Hi All, let's say I have a gameobject and I want a smaller version of it without duplicating it. Is it possible in unity to have two objects that refers to the same instance of a game object ?
thank you, cheers

A smaller version of something implies a second set of data. In your case that would be the Transform.scale you'd need to have twice. This would make 2 Objects. One would be your actual GameObject and the other just a C# class with a reference to the gameObject and an altered verision of the transform scale.
But let's face it. I cannot have a car and a smaller car without having two cars, that's not possible. You can only have one and imagine it smaller.
