Admob plugin crashing on Android 5.0
Hi guys, just launched my game on Google Play Store, at first I got Google Play Services running for leaderboards and achievements, but after I added admob I got some crash reports from Android 5.0 while in my phone 4.4 works just fine, I tested on a friend's phone with Android 5.0 and he play for a few secs and the game crashes, here are some of the crash reports that i received. They don't feel useful but I don't know what to bring you to analyze, ask me anything you need if you think you can help.
Google Play Services and Admob used in the game are both official plugins from Google.
Are you sure it's admob and not the game? When I made my first android game, it worked find on 4.4 but on 5.0 it just crashed for no fucking reason... Remove admob, build the game, test on 5.0. If crashed, then you know it's the bloody OS...
Pretty sure, at first it worked just fine on 5.0 but when I added admob it started to crash on 5.0
Just saw an article talking about app crashes on Android 5.0, it appears to be a glitch of Lollipop, I've tried some alternatives to admob and none of them worked, always crash on Lollipop.
I can confirm this. It's also happening here (i.e. on Lollipop only). Seems like the problem come from the Lollipop update itself. It has so many bugs not to mention crashes.
The issue seems to be fixed Unity 4.6.3 onwards.
