SteamVR PLAYER SETUP

I just need to be able to set up the SteamVR - player so I can walk around pick stuff up throw it and set it down or put it in an inventory that I dont know how to set up either,I super new to this I just need help Setting up the SteamVR -Player so I can walk around a level pick stuff up and move, throw and how to set up and inventory to store zed stuff picked up in inventory
