Converting from old multiplayer with RPC and master server to new networking system (Unity 5.3)
Hi. I have a complete implementation for my multiplayer game using the old networking system with RPC, master server and all. I want to upgrade to the new system, but they talk of hosting services and CCU prices.
So the questions are:
Can I do a straight conversion to the new system?
What are the differences?
Do I need hosting services?
Are there any gotchas when converting?
Can I still use the master server or is that where the hosting services comes in?
