The way I see light probes...
So here is my setup:
I have a scene with a room and a few objects in it.
Everything is dynamic objects.
I add a tone of light probes. Light probes are static (it does not matter though).
And I remove all lights (and set ambient lighting/reflections/etc to zero).

I add a spot light and rebuild the lights. No object is being lit with GI...
I set the capsule as a static object, rebuild lights and then turn the capsule's mesh renderer off. Now the objects are lit with GI. If I rebuild lights again - there will be no GI.

A) I want light probes to work as my capsule with his MeshRenderer off.
B) I want the lightprobes to transmit specular highlights.
Am I mad?
