Question about fixing normals
Hello
So I am running into the same problems others are facing with having their normals flipped.
So with some experimentation, the flipping of normals does not happen when I collapse the mesh and export it into Unity. It looks exactly as it should. Yet, when I export it with the Skin Modifier the normals become flipped.
Added note: The Head is a separate object with the exact same settings but the normals are not flipped?

I've done as other users have suggested and flipped the normals in 3ds Max. I've used xform but the model flips side ways and the lighting is still incorrect. I've also recalculated the normals which helped but the lighting is wrong. (As shown in picture)

If I have to redo the modifier what are the necessary steps I need to make?

I've hit a brick wall on this one and I would really really really appreciate someone helping me out.
