Question by ElementalVenom · Dec 02, 2015 at 07:55 PM · gameobjecttexturescubecubes

How to make cartoonish cubes.

So ive been playing a lot in a game called unturned.I cant get over how hes able to use extremly simple shapes and make it look extremly good. Its slightly cartoonish. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Im guessing it has to do with one of the mat settings. Ive attached a image below in case you havent played the game. It just simply looks good but when i put cubes and stuff into the scene it looks kinda dull. Thanks in advance.

I was going to say "Toon shader" but then I looked at some screeners for Unturned. Its just super low poly cubes. Its not an effect or probably even a shader. Its just basic so its never going to look any different.

Kinda replicated it by messing with the emission thing on the materials settings.
