Fix for Slow Unity editor?
So Its been about 4 months since I worked on my project in unity and I remember before everything was smooth and ran nicely, however running it now is extremely laggy and just not workable with, even in empty scenes it runs extremely slow.
I did some research and did the following solutions that didn't work for me:
Updated Nvidia driver to latest
Updated Unity to latest
Using -force-opengl parameter
using directx9 instead of 11
restart computer and reopen project.
None of those seems to make it better for me, another thing is that my laptop which is not even half as powerful than my desktop (Has no GPU either) works better than my powerful desktop. This is really frustrating, what could be causing it and how can I solve this?
