Initializing a prefab from script in edit mode without breaking the connection
I have created a level builder that works in edit mode. However, I am placing the pieces with GameObject.Instantiate(_tilePrefab);
which breaks the connection to the prefab, so that when I edit the prefab later the changes are not applied to the game objects in the scene.
How can I instantiate a prefab from script in edit mode without disconnecting it from the prefab?
