Use a cubemap as a normal map, possible?
Hi, my question is basically just the title, but I'll give you some context of what I'm looking to achieve in case there's another solution: so I have this project with a shader that is applied to a sphere that has buildings growing out of it. In order to make the sphere seem like it's getting affected by the buildings there's this smaller sphere inside which bakes a cubemap based on it's reflections so I can see where each building is. This cubemap is being used as a displacement map in the big sphere which needs a normal map so that it's displacement can be affected by light as well.
Any help is appreciated, thanks! :)
