How do you submit an 'Application' to the Asset Store?

Hello,

I've created a texture map export plug-in for Photoshop that I feel could be quite useful for Unity users, so I was attempting to use the Publisher Administration Package Manager to create a package so I could submit it for approval. When I went to choose the category, I noticed that 'Applications' weren't in the list (it seems like every other category is though). I've searched around, but haven't been able to find any information on this topic.

Does anyone know what the process is to submit an 'Application' for review to get published on the Asset Store?

If anyone can assist or point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated!

Thank you!

UPDATE - As suggested by Eric5h5, I've contacted assetstore@unity3d.com directly. I will provide an update once I've received an answer for anyone that may be interested.

No, applications are entirely separate, and don't run in Unity.

Owen - Unfortunately, I don't see that as a selectable option in the list. I see 'Editor Extension' as an option, but my Application isn't an extension. It's an external application.

Eric - I realized that, but it's not clear how to submit one though. I thought it may be through the tool (even though packages are created inside Unity) but clearly that's not the case.

Thank you for the replies.

Wait, this has to be a Photoshop plugin? So there's no way to convert it into an Editor Extension (which would just make it better)? That does sound like a reach for the Unity store.

No, it's an application. Not a plugin, extension, or anything like that. https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/category/163/page/1/sortby/popularity It's not a reach, just not a standard thing you submit with the usual tools.

From the looks of it they all seem to be independent companies, so my guess is they all made a special deal with unity to be included on the asset store.

You can try contacting the asset store directly, though it might be by invitation only.

Thanks for the suggestion Eric. It definitely looks like I'll have to try that since there doesn't seem to be any other way. I'll report back once I've found out for sure.
