Animation Clip in Unity not allowing me to select from full frame range (Blender import)
Hey guys, I'm working on bringing some animations from a rigged character in blender into unity. I can get it all to export out, and even run in Unity, but when I'm trying to split the animations into clips I run into issues.
I have an animation in blender running from frame 10-50, and the timeline is set from 0 to 70. However, when I bring this into Unity and try to define the frame range for the animation, I can only go up to frame 40? It did a similar thing when the animation was from 30-60, Unity cut me off at frame 58, so I assume its an import setting I'm not aware of. I've added a screenshot of both blender and unity so you guys can see the timelines I'm working with. Hope it's an easy button I just need to press that I'm unaware of!
Thanks!
Inside clip import Inspector. It show clearly the start and end point right below the clip timeline.
And you use scroll to increase timeline range too
I do see the Start and End points, but unfortunately, that is exactly what I can't change. If I try to set the end value to 50 (which is the last frame with a key on it in blender) it snaps it back to 40. Scrolling doesn't seem to do anything either, I see now that you can zoom in and out on the timeline, but it wont zoom any farther out then frame 40 there either. hurm.
Turn off resample curve.
And someone told me to add extra empty clip inside animation just for extra frames.
And personally, I think unity intentionally remove unnecessary frame of animation like how song have silent at the beginning and ending.

I have a correction to make! It indeed was trimming my timeline down like we thought, I missed that my last keyframe was on 421, but my timeline went to 440. So that makes sense.
As for the loop still jumping, I found that by turning both Resample curves like you said, and animation compression OFF it made the animation finally line up correctly! Thanks for the help, I very much appreciate it!
Post the answer. Some random stranger might need it
