How to save an asset to diks?
I have settings saved in the file "settings.cfg" inside the game directory, when the game is first run or if file is corrupted it will create the file containing default values. If I put the default settings file in the project assets, how can I save it to the game directory during runtime?

It sounds like you might be trying to duplicate the functionality of the built-in PlayerPrefs class: http://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/PlayerPrefs.html
I don't need PlayerPrefs because it saves on the registry and/or other folders that would make the game not portable. Also it might be useful for the user to edit those files and having it inside the game directory would be better.
