Ambisonic rotation not working,Multichannel Ambisonics files not rotating
Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to Unity. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me a hand with an ongoing problem I've been having...
I've rendered some multichannel files from Reaper (2nd Order Ambisonics files. I exported both .wav and .ogg multichannel files) and have imported them into Unity. I'm using the Resonance Audio SDK's for the soundfield spatialization. If I import the files and tick the 'ambisonics' box, the audio files plays but does not rotate, like a static stereo file. But if I tick 'ambisonics', the file does not play and I get mute silence.
Is anyone able to help me get the sound rotation happening?
In my project, the player is stationary and rolls around in the same position like a ball, so the ability to hear the sound rotating around you as you're stationary is crucial.
I have placed the listener SDK on the camera, and the source SDK on the 'ball' object, which is the player.
I have attached some screen shots so you are able to see what I have been doing in my project and where perhaps I am going wrong.
Cheers,
Tom
