How do I get rid of stretchy Hinges?
Hey guys, I've researched for hours but to no avail. Hopefully someone knows a solution, or at least maybe a different way of doing this?
I have a 2D character that has a tail, and I want to have the character hang from it's tail after touch is initiated. However, my problem is when I have a moving object to hang from (i.e. spinning wheel) my character's tail doesn't stay attached via the Hinge joint...it stretches away, especially when the moving object has a higher velocity. I've tried messing with Mass, Gravity, and even Iteration. I had better luck in messing with Iteration, but it still has stretch (just less of it).
Anyone know what could be causing the issue, or maybe a different solution that doesn't involve joints (cause I've tried all of them, even the Distance Joint stretches). Thank you!
Any help is appreciated, even if it's just a redirect to another similar question that was asked. Thanks again!
