Do I need an iPhone or Apple device besides the mac to develop and publish to the App Store?
I owned a Mac and am enrolled in the Developer program. But I no longer own a mac and do not have my own Apple "devices". I have access to both but I own none. I'm looking to buy a mac mini, but I really don't care to get an iPhone. When I go to build a game from Xcode on a mac I get the error message that I need to register a "device" on the Mother dev site (whatever they call it). So if get a mac again and register it, I still won't be able to develop and publish a game because I don't have a "device" (handheld iPhone or iPad, or is a mac mini considered a device)? My question is, if I have my own mac registered to me will I be able to.. 1) make a build. 2) test on others devices (besides emulator)? It seems as though I need a "device" to go forward...
