ADB tunnel seems to be connected, but no profiler data!
Hey, I'm using Unity 5.4.1f1. I'm trying to use the profiler to look at how my Android phone is preforming. I followed the unity info page, but now I'm stuck, as the ADB tunnel has a checkmark next to my device in the active profiler. Indicating that it should work. I have ensured my build is checked for development, but no data shows up... Any ideas?
your profiler should list your running ap in the dropdown for profilable devices. If you choose it there it should show. If you have to select it there, you may not have enabled autoconnect profiler in the build settings. WIFI might also be bad. If all does not work run adb logcat -s Unity on the console
It does auto connect. Does it require wifi or is that an optional way of connecting? Can the cmd logcat solution tell me preformance issues? $$anonymous$$y fps keeps sinking until the game crashes on android but no leaks are showing on pc.
From the docs here I can see there's a WIFI and ADB way of doing this. Is that what you've been following?
I ran the wifi solution, and it seems to work just fine. I'm going to choose to believe that the adb not working is most likely due to my phone having android 7.0 which prob. don't have all the bugs worked out yet?
