Resources.Load Mesh within file
Currently, I have all my different meshes to be loaded on runtime in different c4d files. e.g. Gate1_Wire.c4d, Gate1_Base.c4d, Gate1_Door.c4d, etc ...
So I use Resources.Load("Props/" + propType + "_" + propDetail, Mesh);
to instantiate the gate. I've noticed it would save so much space if I had all of the propDetails (Wire, Base, Door) inside a single 'Gates' c4d file.
How would I be able to access specific meshes from the file via Resources.Load e.g. something like Resources.Load("Props/Gates", Mesh.propDetail);
?
Thanks.

c4d does not sound like a supported format. $$anonymous$$y guess is you would need a plugin that can read the format and split it up for you, and then load it with Unity native methods
