Object appears fine in the inspector but stretched in scene
I came across a quite strange issue. I exported some models from 3DS Max to .fbx as usual, imported it to Unity and they looks nice in the inspector..
As soon as I put it into my scene though they're stretched in a different scale for each axis. So if I want to make the object look like in the inspector, I have to change the scale x,y,z to something like 0.8, 0.4, 1..
The thing is, that I need to have all these scales to 1, because I want to move those object in my game by calculating their size.
Anyone has any clue why this is happening?
Try to freeze the transform before exporting, the equivalent in 3DS $$anonymous$$ax is Reset XForm
Utilities --> Reset XForm
