What is a good way to have my player grab and roll a boulder like in Tomb Raider isometric games
I'm not asking for code, but just some advice on a good way to achieve this as it seems tricky.
It looks great and very controlled in Tomb Raider - Temple of Osiris, and I'd love to try it. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/8Cp5hT_X5BA?t=11m59s
Basically, the player can only roll the boulder around while holding a button down and moving a joystick in the direction they want to go.
I've tried parenting the boulder to the player, but of course that has zero weight to it when moving around. I'm not sure what else to do.
