GearVR luminance output
I know the GearVR screen can go up to 330 lumen in brightness when Im displaying a white image in the Gallery app. However, when I do the same using a Unity app the screen maximum brightness falls to 73 lumen.
At first I though it was due to the refresh rate, but even after dropping to Hz to 10 or even to 2 nothing changed. It is a huge bumper since Im trying to display calibrated images on the screen.
Does anyone know why the brightness of the Samsung S6 phone falls down so much when used with a Unity app?
