Unity editor window snapping behavior preferences?

The snapping window/panel behavior in Unity 5 is driving me nuts. I work on 3 monitors, and I like to have my panels docked into several different windows, and have windows from other applications open and accessible behind unity. I am having a hard time working with windows in the Unity 5 editor. When I drag a window by its tab, instead of staying full size, it turns into a thumbnail, then snaps to some corner of one of my screens. The snapping to a monitor location really bugs me. If I don't put a panel into another window, I don't want it to snap. Is there a way to turn off this snapping?
