Materials dont work/change in Build.

Hey everyone. So, i have an issue here. I created 2 buttons that change the material of the Player. More like equip and unequip colors. Say, first button changes the Players color to red, second button to blue. Note: Player is in a different scene. However when i build the game to test it on Android the materials dont change,cant get equipped. Everything is working fine in Editor, with Resources.Load cause i placed my 2 materials on the Resources folder and referenced them from script. I have tried resetting the Graphics thinking that might do the trick. I placed my shaders in the "Always included Shaders". I have created empty GameObjects and assigned those materials there as a reference. Then i thought maybe the shader is not supported, then i changed the shader. Still nothing. So i have tried a number of things, and again, almost everything works in the Editor. The problem am having is that it doesnt work in Build, on my Android device. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
