unity 2dcharactercontroller2d animation2d-gameplay
Setting frame/time of current animation
I am creating a 4 directional movement controller like classical RPG games. I have 4 animations, one for each direction, and when I release the respective movement keys I want the current animation to jump to the initial position of the animation and stop the animation from playing. So if I press D and walk right, then I want the character to look in that direction and standing in the pose of the first image in the animation when I release the key. Right now, I'm using animator.enabled = false, but this freezes the animation in the current frame, which looks very weird if he's currently in the middle of taking a step. I hope I've described the problem clear enough:)
