Unity4, resolution-independent typography
I have not installed Unity4 yet,
I notice it claims
"Render efficiently any character set at any resolution with cross-platform dynamic fonts"
Could someone point me to the documentation, that explains how to do this, un Unity4?
I could not find it. Thanks!

http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/Components/class-Font.html
Import your font and mark it as dynamic. Now Unity will use the underlying OS font rendering to create glyphs of any size as they are needed.
$$anonymous$$agnificent, thank you
Just TBC .. good old Unity3 does indeed have a Dynamic option there, also.
(Thus you can for example essentially use the fonts "already in iOS")
But the news in Unity4 is that now works "on all platforms" -- am I correct?
With Unity3, the fonts are "different sizes on different screens". You have to use 40 point on iPad2 but 80 point on iPad3.
in Unity4, would I do the same thing (ie "40 on iPad2, 80 on iPad4")
Sorry for the bother .... awesome
