Blending lower body and upper body animations
Okay, so, I've seen people asking about how to mix one animation with the other using CrossFade or BlendWeights or whatever but I have yet to see one talk about specific areas of the body. In my case, I have this animation of running with a rifle. The movement of the legs is great, better than the other ones, including the default, unarmed ones. So what I wanna do is keep the animations unchanged, but mix the leg movement with the arm movement, so I can have less animations. One way would be deleting the upper body properties for a cloned version of the rifle animations and removing any properties related to the legs for the other ones, but I wanna know if there's another way, through scripting. I see the Source engine does this a lot, so it could be possible through Unity.
