2D face on 3D model
Hey everyone,

i'm trying to put a 2D Face (With an .png file) on a 3D modell.

I created a model in Blender and and need to get the eye + mouth on the character.
The eyes and mouth need to be changeable, because of expression.

My solution i went for now is having a object infront of the character and put the eyes/mouth on that.
So these are not connected with the mesh.
The problem: When animating the face is flying infront of the character and there are some problems with clipping meshes. [IMG1]* (GIF is linked, too big for this forum)

Whats the best way to achieve the best result?
(Like a lego character, zelda faces or slime rancher)

 Thank you
