Terrain detail mesh material not working
I am trying to learn the terrain system in Unity, but I am having a lot of trouble instancing detail meshes. The terrain doesn't seem to respect the material applied to the mesh or the textures' settings. I made a bush (pixel artstyle, cutout texture, point filtering, looks fine in the game) but when I instance it, it is opaque, there is no normal maps, and the pixels are mipmaped.
Why is there so many limitation to prefab instancing in the unity terrain and how do I get around it ?
