How do I stop Unity Editor from crashing on startup? "Unity Editor is not working"
I have Unity Editor on version 2017.4.0f1 (64-bit) The latest version as of April 2018, but whenever I go to start it up it crashes on startup and gives me a message that says something like "Unity Editor is not working" I've been trying to get it fixed, I checked for "LavaSoft Web Companion" on my PC but I do not have it, instead I have "McAfee WebAdvisor", I feel like the problem might be with that, but I don't know. Here are some PC specs that I feel are relevant to this case:
Intel Integrated HD Graphics
Windows 8.1
4 GB RAM
64-bit Operating System
And also, I have been using Unity Hub to launch Unity Editor, and it has worked, but using certain things such as the Asset Store inside of the Editor crashes the Editor as well, so I cannot load up any assets that I get from the Unity Asset Store.
