Photon doesn't sync when application gets paused on Android
I have a multiplayer 2D arena shooter game.
When the app is paused on Android (user presses home btn) the player is not responsive to other objects like shots (as expected, since the game cant run on background on Android). To solve this I would like to move that player out of the playground (then respawn him and give him some penalty...)
private void OnApplicationFocus(bool focus)
{
if(!focus)
myPlayer.transform.position = Vector2.one * 666;
else
myPlayer.transform.position = originalPosition;
}
This method is correctly called but myPlayer's position is not correctly synced to other players. I use Photon to sync positions.
Am I missing something or is this a bad design?
