What is Unity\Editor\Data\Tools\VersionControl\perforce.exe?!?
I was looking at the unity install and was wondering what in the world this was. It was at Unity\Editor\Data\Tools\VersionControl\perforce.exe. Unity doens't have a perforce plugin as far as I know of so I was curious what it is used for.
I would poke around their Github VersionControlPlugins documentation and/or source. It looks like a current SC$$anonymous$$ plugin included in Unity distro.
Oh. Cool I found this page before but with your explanation it makes much more sense.

It's the tool that hooks Unity up to Perforce. It's used by the Team License.
No, the asset server is Unity's own version control. This is a plugin for integrating Unity with a third-party version control software, in this case, Perforce.
