Making a Nav Mesh work on a 2d scene
I have a 2d scene, in which I've put a 3d object, and I want it to navigate on a plane which I've put behind him. To make things clearer I'll add a picture:
(The selected orange rectangle is the plane)
So the planets are the players, and I want the right one to be the Agent, and I've added a "Nav Mesh Agent" component to it and a patrol script, and tried to bake the plane after I checked "Navigation Static" but didn't see the cyan color on it (I followed the unity manual, I have no previous experience with navigation).
The console error: "GetRemainingDistance" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.
I don't understand what went wrong. Thanks in advance.
