Save and restore object transform in editor
For example, I have a scene containing a "player" object. This object has a predefined starting position, but sometimes it's useful to move it to some other position in the scene for test purposes. After testing, it's often quite difficult to restore the object previous position because I might simply forget it :) Are there any ready-to-use tools to allow one to save and later restore object transform or position?
I just use a script to instantiate the player prefab and initialize the scene. I have a debug position that it's activate when this is not null and the DEBUG flag is ON.
Ins$$anonymous$$d of coordinates, you can use a empty object (and mark it with a icon) to deter$$anonymous$$e both positions.
