Game Build Taking Days
Hey Guys, I've been researching this problem for quite a while and have been unable to find a working solution as of writing this post. Basically I have a game consisting of 60 scenes that on average takes 36-48 hours to compile a single build. I know it's possible to greatly reduce this time as I was able to build it in 3-4 hours back when there were 45ish scenes. I do have some duplicate assets being used and I am working on cutting those down to make sure they aren't causing any issues, but I've also tried disabling GI Lighting as well as a few other tricks. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it gets annoying having to wait 4-5 days to have a build ready for each desktop OS.
if you create a new project, how long does it takes to build?
A new project containing the same assets/about the same size or just a new project in general?
if you're talking about a new build in general, I can usually build it within a few $$anonymous$$utes depending on the size of the scene.
