What is AssetBundle compatibility for MetroPlayer and/or WP8?
Are apps built targeting Windows App Store or Windows Phone able to load AssetBundles built for WebPlayer and Standalone builds the way traditional Standalone Windows .exe builds can?
The Unity AssetBundle compatibility matrix doesn't list compatibility values for either Windows App Store or Windows Phone platforms

In Unity 4.x you'll have to build AssetBundles with target MetroPlayer. In Unity 5.x the target is WSAPlayer.
