Android app works on only Xiaomi, not any other Android devices
I have a project that runs properly in Play Mode. When I build it to Android .apk it succeeds. But it only works properly on Xiaomi phones. I don't know why.
Working Properly meaning:
I have a .csv file. I fetch data from it by :
TextAsset elements = Resources.Load("elements");
Then I assign its data to positions of my object to move. It is assigned to a new position every 0.01 seconds, so it is moving constantly.
I also assign texts of 2 UI Game Objects to these positions and dates, which are collected data from .csv file before.
On Xiaomi it is working as explained above. But on other devices, texts are default text, object is in the same position as I put him in Scene mode.
Can anyone tell me why it works only on Xiaomi, but not on any other Android device?
i bet because the csv file exists in the xiaomi and not in the other devices, but you have not shared any logs at all, the information should be there
I don't have an Android device with me. And I think I can't get logs because of it. But if CSV file exists in Xiaomi, why wouldn't it on other devices? It's the same build .apk and CSV file is added in Assets\Resources folder.
why cant you get logs? unless you share the logs is imposible for us to know without code or logs, there is nothing that makes one device special to access files
