Is it possible to make a Unity mobile app appear under the Lock Screen, like the phone app?
A friend was asking if it was possible to get Unity to take focus on a locked phone, in the same way that your phone app will appear under the lock screen when you receive a call. Basically - you get a Unity app that can ask you to unlock your phone or cancel the app's call for attention.
I'm not a regular mobile / tablet developer, so this sounds a little like dark magic to me, but he's not looking to access any odd information, just prompt the unlock so a character in-game can make a call to the player. Anybody have any ideas?
As I say - I'm sorta new to this area. I can find info on interacting via the screen, and things like getting the phone to recognise an accelerometer input, but info on prompting an unlock/dismiss seems rare.
