Humanoid vs Generic: Animation files
I am new to unity, and I'm am running into a lot of walls when it comes to the animation aspect of Unity. So, I have downloaded some unity animation clips "MoCap Animation Pack V2.5" (a zombie animation pack) and I want to apply them to a free Zombie Model. The Zombie model is a humanoid, and the animation clips that I bought(explained above^) seem to be generic. Is there a way to add generic animation clips to a humanoid game object? I tried doing it, but then the models would break within the Game window. I also read something along the lines of them not sharing a hierarchy of some sort. I don't want to wast my purchases, so If there is anyway to convert generic clips for Humanoid models that is what I'm looking for. Also, is there any way to tell before purchase in the unity store if the animations are for generic or humanoid? One more question, if it is possible, would you be able to direct me to a place where I can obtain humanoid animation packs?
