IK control resets finger positions
I am using the IK Control script from the Unity manual (here) with a Mixamo rig. The rig is by default in T-pose. It works fine in moving the hands, but now I want the fingers of the right hand curled so that it will look like the avatar is holding an object. In the editor I rotate the fingers so that it makes something like a fist and save the scene, but when I hit play the fingers are strechted out again.
I have created an avatar mask in which I have deselected the transforms of the fingers on the right hand and tried to use that in the IK settings in the animator. But if I set the blending to Override the fingers are stretched again and if I set the blending to Additive very strange things happen. The avatar sinks halfway through the ground and the fingers of both hands (so not only right) are halfway curled (somehwere in between straight and a fist).
Any suggestions on how to solve this? Thanks!
