HDRP decal projector low performance issue,HDRP low performance issue
I'm doing a shooter with a splatoon-like ink mechanic, and for this I'm using HDRP decal projector, but since we're talking about hundreds of decals, the game performance is really bad. The first image show the performance with no decals, the second one after around 300 shots, and the third is after looking away from the decals. I need to know whether there's a player above the decal or if another shot hits it, so every decal has a trigger collider and a script with a OnControllerColliderHit and a OnTriggerEnter. What can I do to improve performance?
