How to have a camera that follows and allows for manual repositioning?
Hey gang,
I've been looking for a few days now for something to work with here but nothing yet. Hopefully you guys can provide some guidance. I'm working on a basic 3rd person project where I would like the camera to follow the player in a kind of RTS view (above and to the side), with the addition of the option to drag the camera elsewhere on the map using the left mouse button. Ability to rotate camera using right mouse button would be a plus!

Unfortunately, that camera seems to be for a 2D side-scroller, whereas I would need one for a 3D RTS. I do appreciate the answer though!
