Editor Coroutines and Playmode
I'm trying to create a set of videos using the Unity Recorder and Editor Coroutine packages. the user defines a set of SceneAssets in an editor window -- which I have working -- and when the user clicks a button, the following would occur for each scene:
Open the SceneAsset
Enter playmode
While in playmode, find a specific component and invoke the Record method
When the recording is over, exit playmode
Build the scene as a separate executable
I have points 1-2 and 3-4 and 5 working independently of each other, but not in tandem. Editor coroutines appear to be stopped when entering playmode, which completely breaks this pipeline.
Are editor coroutines stopped upon entering playmode in the editor? If so, is there another solution I could use it order to accomplish this pipeline?
