Can apk built with Unity 5 still be published on Google Play?
Hi guys! I was recently reading Godot's blogpost and I found that GPlay was rejecting apks made with older versions of their game engines. Being a 32bit user, I use Unity 5. Now Unity 5 is also old, so I am scared as hell if the project I have made will even publish to the store! If anyother Unity 5 user has published an apk to Gplay 'recently', please tell me so I can sleep peacefully. I dont want to spend $25 and then get an error from Gplay.

While I haven't used Unity 5 in a hot, hot minute, I can verify what Mojo stated: there is nothing I saw in the G-Play (or Unity) documentation restricting how/in-what the apk was built. The G-Play console only requires each subsequently uploaded apk's build number to be higher than that of the last uploaded (something I have personally tested).
The build number is found in: Build Settings -> Player Settings -> Other Settings -> Build (found under the Mac App Store Options label).
From what I have read, and seen, this is a variable used by both Apple and Google for internal tracking purposes.
Google Play is easy street and $25 for a lifetime of access. Compare that to the devil (Apple) at $100 with a $100 annual fee, and require you to build on a $$anonymous$$ac and only test on specifically registered test devices... whom also, unfortunately, own the majority of the mobile market.

I think the only restrictions are the min and max apk version of android it runs on, I've never heard of apk being rejected because they were built with one platform or another.
