[SOLVED] 2D Sprite appears more pale and colorless than the original image
Long story short, I have a glowing electron non-animated sprite. It looks much more pale in-game than it actually does.
Here is how it looks like really: http://imgur.com/a/59MFL
And this is what unity gives me: http://imgur.com/a/cveF2
Is there a reason within Unity for this problem? I mean, the images for the title etc. are all made in the same program, and all have the same format, yet they've come out right. Even in the sceneview, the texture has the right color and size, so it only happens in the game view and actual builds. It's beyond me what could cause this whitening, and I have already gone through all the shaders, too, and although I know it's probably something trivial, this game is not really content rich so graphics have a large share in the experience.
EDIT: I have noticed that the reason for it happening is because the backgroung image was partially transparent. When making it fully solid, I do not even see the electron anymore. Even if I adjust the Z coordinates and order in overlay, it does not appear.
SOLUTION: After playing around with the Canvas, I've swapped the render mode to Screen Space Camera and added the Main Camera as the camera. Now everything works perfectly and as intended. Sorry for wasting time, if I did.
