Square camera causing game view to show a split screen of what is shown on the camera, and a black square
I am attempting to make the game with a square camera. I have got the camera to be a square perspective with a .5 w and 1h rect to only show a square around the game itself, but now the game view is still rectangular, so it shows the game one side and a black square on the other.
Additionally, when I change the aspect above the game view in the image shown here, it just manipulates the whole thing, rather than removing the black portion. Do I have to make the game with a 1:1 camera rect? or is there something I can do to make the game just the square portion shown on the camera?
Good day. Can you post a screenshot of the camera inspector, and the scene to see whats and how the camera is poitning?
