Am I doing this right?
Hi,
I'm fairly new to the Unity engine, and I'm having some trouble making the player GameObject. I have a GameObject in my scene called "Player", and to display the player, I dragged multiple images onto the player to create a "PlayerIdle" animation. So basically, when I start the game, Unity is replaying the same animation over and over again. If this helps, I have some code to make the player respond to the WASD keys and play animations accordingly. Am I doing this correctly? How should I make the player appear in the scene view while the game is NOT running?
I feel like I'm doing everything incorrectly because if I drag an image of the player (with code to make the sprite respond to keys) into the Player GameObject and run the game, it shows two images on the screen with one responding to keys and the other playing animations. It would be appreciated if any of you can give me a link to a good tutorial that covers all this or can give me a detailed explanation.
EDIT: Ask me if you don't quite get what I'm talking about
Thanks
