Memory usage for WebGL Build
Hello I just started using the Unity 5, I followed some tutorials and just finished "Creating a Breakout Game for Beginners". The game works fine, when I build it for windows, even as a dev build, it uses just 80MB ram.
When I build it as a WebGL, I need to increase the WebGL Memory Size to 2 GB in order for it to run, else it gives the error that there is not enough heap memory. The chrome window uses as much as 1.7GB while the game is running.
Can somebody tell me what is the problem, as no code is changed between builds? Why so high memory usage? Thank you
