Android Fixed DPI Scale Factor
Hello,
Please help me someone! I really need help! I've been searching a lot to fix my problem already and I really am sick of it...
In Unity, in quality settings, if you put in your android player settings the resolution to be on fixed dpi, there is something called scaling factor. If your scaling factor is different than 1, the screen render resolution changes (or at least this is what I understand).
Now my problem is this does not happen during runtime. I have to minimize the game and maximize it back (basically switch app to background and back).
I understand that Unity does not provide any possible way of restarting an application when a change like this is make, so I would have to beg the user to do it... and we usually don't :) .
I really need to set this scale factor for my minimum graphics settings, I simply need to do this!
Please help me with a topic if there is any (I already searched many many days) or some advice on how I could reset this resolution at runtime or restart the app. Or please just please suggest me a way of doing it!
Unity even provides a command QualitySettings.resolutionScalingFixedDPIFactor but this does not work realtime! The documentation on this command is basically absent : https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/QualitySettings-resolutionScalingFixedDPIFactor.html .
Please someone help! It is the second time I ask this here!
