Upload failed You uploaded an APK that was signed in debug mode. You need to sign your APK in release mode.
So am trying to upload a new APK to the Google Play store but everytime I try, I get the following error :

I'm as certain as I can be that I've setup the keystore/alias correctly (have done it for several other releases) and am not submitting in debug mode.
Any help greatly appreciated.

So turns out the problem was I imported the Google Play game Services package before signing for the first time........deleted the package and now can upload.
